Destination: Roslindale, MA

My next destination was in Boston to visit my aunt and cousin. The focus was definitely not on running/hiking.

On the first night, we went to a great restaurant where we met up with another cousin and her husband. The meal was delicious and it was fun to share some yummy desserts.

The next day, I spent time with my aunt and cousin exploring Boston’s China Town. We had some great authentic food and saw some interesting sights.

The picture you see is of me and my aunt. I wish I had taken more pictures, but I guess I was just living in the moment.

I hadn’t seen my aunt and cousin for years and I think that they were more than a little bit surprised when I asked if I could visit. However, they welcomed me with open arms and made sure my visit was fun.

I’m so glad that I decided to take this adventure– if only for reconnecting with my family and, ultimately, visiting my home state of Maine in the end.

I did manage to run a 4 mile loop on one of the days I was here– but, like in this post, that was an afterthought.
